We just happened to be walking by when the aroma from the pub was so profound. We decided to look at the menu they had in the front of the building. My husband ordered the brisket with mac and cheese and cornbread. I ordered the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes, ceaser salad, and cornbread . Both meals were half off due to a special they were having .my husband enjoyed his brisket. I was not a fan of the meatloaf. Tasted like half beef half turkey. My overall impression was very good, but I believe I just ordered the wrong meal . The corn bread is more of a sugar bread, which is a major turn-off for a BBQ restaurant .

I love the Pit and Pub in Salisbury. So when we were looking for a place in OC we decided to give it a try. I was totally disappointed in the food. The crab dip had more cheese than crab and no flavor the pretzel pieces that came with it were greasy. I had the meatloaf and it was just bad. Very thin piece luke warm and no flavor. The baked beans uneatable and Caesar side salad was a handful of romaine lettuce, a few croutons a pinch of cheese and sub par dressing. I did not finish any of it. My companions meal was the brisket but no slices just a lump of meat. The service was good.

Be prepared to bring your own silverware, our party was 3 people, only 2 sets were brought. Food took forever and a half to get to the table. Must reminded waitress for beer, got it when dinner was almost over. Ribs were dry, mash potatoes did not have any taste, same goes for fish tacos, shrimp had old bay on top, no cocktail sauce, no lemon came with them. Again, asked waitress, her response was: You get if you asked for it.
Good tip for us to ask before starting eating. So, be prepared to bring silverware, cocktail sauce and lemons.
On the bright side the water tasted like water, at least we hoped that was water.
