Coral Reef Restaurant & Bar

Our first meal here was takeout dinner on Apr 12. We ordered crab dip, the coral combo, and salmon with the vegetable of the day – green beans. The crab dip with the slices of bread was scrumptious! Plenty of crab for sure. Also, the coral combo was delicious. Two sides come with three shrimp, three bay scallops, and a crabcake. There were no shells in the crabcake – perfect and excellent. The two sides we ordered were sweet potato fries and regular fries. Both were cooked perfectly – not crunchy or overcooked. As for the salmon with green beans…my experience is that the green beans were excellent (perhaps sauteed in Worcestershire sauce), but the salmon needed some help. While it comes with a sauce, I didn’t like the sauce, and the salmon was overcooked and dry. Our next meal here was takeout lunch on Apr 15. We ordered crab cake + double order of green beans (sigh…it was the veggie of the day…again) and spicy crispy BLT + regular fries. While the crab cake was delicious again, the green beans were plain; had to add salt and pepper this time, so that was disappointing. The fries were good, but there wasn’t anything spicy about the sandwich in my husband’s opinion. He said in comparison to other spicy chicken sandwiches he’s eaten, this one was the worst (that's including restaurants AND fast food). While I remembered to take pictures of our Apr. 12 order, I forgot to take pictures of our Apr. 15 order. Also, there’s a picture of our two receipts. A note about the atmosphere; this place is located directly next to the indoor pool; only short glass partitions separate the pool and the restaurant. So if there are kids splashing and playing in the pool, or just multiple people at the pool, it can be loud and may detract from your dining experience.

The food was excellent. The service good. The atmosphere was poor. Picture eating fine dining with a pool filled with 20+ hollering kids in the middle of the restaurant.

My wife Elizabeth and I were there with our daughter, her husband and children from June 5 to June 7, 2026 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). We had a wonderful time. We visited the CORAL REEF RESTAURANT on Saturday and Sunday and we were so pleased with the wonderful service we received at the table from Mrs. PAZ CUENCA. She was so caring and courtious and made us feel very special. The food was also the best. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the service. We will be coming back soon.
