Hilton Garden Inn Ocean City Oceanfront

I recently stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn Ocean City to celebrate my mother’s birthday, expecting the quality and care that the Hilton brand is known for. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I anticipated—and left us feeling deeply disappointed and uncomfortable.

During our stay, I was bitten by bed bugs in our room. This caused significant physical discomfort and emotional distress, turning what should have been a joyful occasion into a nightmare. Even more upsetting was how the situation was handled.

Rather than being relocated to a different Hilton property or compensated with a stay elsewhere, we were simply moved to another room in the same compromised hotel—which did not feel like a safe or acceptable solution. This response failed to reflect the level of care and customer service Hilton promises.
I reached out to Hilton Customer Service immediately following the incident and have yet to receive any response or follow-up. This lack of acknowledgment adds to my frustration and concern.

This experience has left me questioning Hilton's standards for cleanliness, guest safety, and accountability. I sincerely hope the company takes action to investigate this issue, implement better protocols, and ensure no other guests have to endure something similar.

Checked in April 23rd and checked out May 1st.

I had a fantastic stay! All of the staff that I had interactions with were very nice and helpful. The room was great. The Solstice Bar and Grill in the hotel lobby was fantastic [both the staff and the food]. I had a really nice time on my first vacation as an adult of 55 years old. I have absolutely no complaints to make about this hotel and my stay here. I very much appreciate that it is dog friendly. It was just wonderful! Hopefully I will be back to Ocean City again sooner rather than later, and this is definitely the place I will want to stay. I very much recommend this hotel, especially if you are a dog owner!

If I could give 10 stars I would !! We stayed here in January of 2025 and we r planning another trip here soon! The rooms were so nice and linen and terry smelled of Ecolab clearly soft plus softener which is amazing! The maintenance guy took me down and showed me the laundry room because I’m interested in industrial laundry equipment and we chatted for a while. He was such a nice guy and the customer service for him to do that for me is amazing! I hope we can plan a weekend as a family here again really soon it was a lot of fun walking the boardwalk as well. I recommend this hotel over the other ones down here just because of how clean it is and it just got renovated like a few years ago. Really fun place PLEASE come check it out!! My mom and her friends from work came down here as well and had a blast as well as her friend getting a luggage cart stuck in the elevator. Oof mission failed we will get it right next time 😂 what a fool. I wish I remember the maintenance guys name but he was so nice to take me for that tour. Keep up the great work and we should be back soon !!! The guest laundry is clean and modern also.
