Route 66 Diner OCMD

Generous portions, delicious food, the fries are amazing and slightly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, the menu has many options and our vegetarian requests were warmly received and perfectly executed. They have a beyond burger and I asked them to swap tomatoes for corned beef in a Reuben sandwich and it was perfect. Fun decor, full bar options but the place is very kid friendly. Breakfast all day!! Lori (sp.?, our waitress) was super cool and fun to talk to. We'll be back ASAP.

The actual food was less than decent. My son found a hair in the bottom of his milkshake and when i told the waitress she just replied "ok" with no apology. The layout of the tables made it so we had to pass down the plates of food to the people on the ends ourselves. It was an all around unpleasant experience. Will not return.

My wife and I stopped in here to Route 66 diner in Ocean City, Maryland due to everything else basically being closed in the winter time. And boy are we glad we did from the service to the food. Everything was absolutely awesome! Lori was our waitress and she did fantastic. My wife had the corned beef hash, and I had the build your own omelette and we split some pancakes with blueberries. Everything was great!
Worth taking the chance…. Oh yeah, they have a bar!
